Please note that this is a two session course - you must attend both linked sessions: C107 Introduction to Problem-Based Learning and C108 Being a PBL Facilitator.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the Seven Steps process by which students learn through PBL
  • Evaluate PBL from the students, the teachers and the professions point of view
  • Discuss how PBL could be used to help students understand, learn and remember clinical medicine
