R225 - Communicating your Research - Public Engagement

Public engagement describes the many ways in which the activity and benefits of research are shared with, and informed by, the public. This can include public lectures, working with schools, participating in festivals/museum exhibitions etc, involving the public as researchers, and many other activities.

This workshop is suitable for research students and research staff who are keen to find out more about public engagement, and to think about how they can communicate their research effectively to the public.

This course will open for booking on 12/12/11, If it is very important that you confirm a place on this course now (e.g. if you are a part-time or distance student with limited opportunities to attend workshops), please e-mail Jo Cordy (j.m.cordy@qmul.ac.uk).
