RS017 - The Aspiring Research Leader – Communicating With Your Teams

Audience: postdoctoral and early-career researchers, early-career academics*

This workshop series is for future academic research leaders.

This workshop will examine some core principles of communication to help you to build a toolkit of communication techniques and strategies. It will start by examining your own preferences and then will move into helping you to develop an empathetic understanding of which strategies might be more helpful with different types of individuals. We will then develop these ideas and apply them to practical situations from an academic and collaborative environment.
