PD209 (S and E only) - Academic Promotions Briefing

This course is intended for Science and Engineering academic staff who are considering an application for promotion in the forthcoming promotions round or in the future and who wish to understand the criteria and process.

Aims:
- To help you understand when you should start thinking about applying for promotion
- To provide a better understanding of the academic promotions process and criteria

Format:
- Faculty perspective: brief introduction on the academic promotions process and the specificities relating to Faculty disciplinary areas.
- Tips and advice
- Question & answers with the Vice-Principal and HR representatives

- Location: Lecture Theatre, Fogg Building, Mile End

**This session is intended for academic staff within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Other faculties have separate sessions (search using course code PD209).**

If you are unable to attend the session for your own faculty, you may attend one of the others but please note the session is chaired by the Faculty Vice-Principal and some information given will be specific to the relevant academic disciplines.
