RD306 - The researcher playbook: Becoming your best researcher self

Audience: All researchers (including staff and PhD students)

As an early career researcher (doctoral or post-doctoral), your identity as a researcher is uniquely yours to define and develop. You can own this, and sculpt your researcher identity in a deliberate way to serve you and your goals. This workshop gives you a framework to do just that.

The researcher playbook is a 3-hour intensive workshop that will give you the tools to:

• Discover what drives you and how to optimise your opportunities based on your preferences.
• Identify your values and how they influence your choices: make better decisions with a greater sense of direction.
• Recognise your strengths and choose how you want to develop as a researcher.
• Explore how you operate in your professional relationships: maximise communication and collaboration.

(Please note this workshop was previously entitled: Define your Professional Self; Enhance your Professional Relationships)
