PD139 - Mindmapping for Professional Services Staff

This course teaches you how to use 'mind mapping’, an easy to learn note making, thinking and creativity tool. Mind mapping provides a simple framework for capturing and organising ideas and managing information using keywords, linked lines and images. You can use mind mapping for planning, organisation, summarising books and lectures, time management and taking notes in meetings.

This half day course is suitable for: Professional Services, Support & Academic staff

[PhD students please note that this course is intended for members of staff working at the university and does not accrue points towards your PhD’s professional development scheme. It is therefore not generally recommended for PhD Students.

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Leave equipped effective note-making skills. These can be used in a variety of situations – from study to project planning as well as helping to facilitate creative thinking.
