RD300 - Supporting mental health and wellbeing in PGRs: a guidance for supervisors

Audience: PGR supervisors, Directors of Graduate Studies and staff supporting PGRs

This workshop aims to help you understand pressures PGRs are under and the risk they pose to their mental wellbeing. By the end of the workshop you will be able to recognise signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, when a PGR is at risk and when there is a mental health crisis. You will also be able to identify when and how to intervene and provide support for PGRs. Finally, you'll be encouraged to think about your own mental wellbeing.

Tea/coffee and snacks will be served during the session.

This workshop was developed with the help of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and is one of the initiatives of the Catalyst Funded project: Supporting PGR mental health and wellbeing.
