PD172 (fully booked) - Unconscious Bias Training

These sessions are intended for staff only.

It is now acknowledged that in addition to eradicating discrimination and bias within an organisation, it is important to consider the role of unconscious bias on individual behaviours and the impact this has on our ability to create an open, fair and inclusive workplace culture for all. (Women in Science and Engineering -WISE)

This workshop explores the role unconscious bias plays in limiting our best efforts to create an inclusive organisation and provides staff with strategies to minimise the impact of these biases in the workplace.

To limit the impact of unconscious bias on key decisions, the university encourages all staff to attend one of these sessions.
