Course Detail


The course covers five modules and is suitable for staff at any level, as a first step in learning the essential elements of health and safety and the environment; including identifying and dealing with hazard and risks.


By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of working safely and the potential outcomes if they fail to do so
  • Learn how to identify risks and hazards
  • Understand the importance of risk assessments
  • Understand the importance of a health & safety management system
  • Understand the importance of emergency plans and procedures and how to report incidents
