RD203 - Reading Strategically and Analytically

Audience: All researchers (including staff and PhD students)

Preparation: Please bring with you an academic article / book chapter that you would like to read for your research, but which you haven’t read yet.

During the session we will discuss your current reading practice; sources of research literature; approaches to selecting and prioritising published material; what to look for in research papers; and, how you could apply these skills to make your reading more strategic. We will also discuss steps to reading critically and practise using your critical and analytical skills when reading.
