PD224 (staff only) - Chairing Employment Panels Training for Managers

Please note: this session directly follows another so allow the morning group to depart before entering the room.

This will cover the key components of a chairing a hearing (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, appeal) and takes managers through the practicalities of managing and follow up to the hearing, to ensure the necessary elements are covered to underpin a fair and impartial decision-making process.
The session will cover the role of the Chair, planning and managing the hearing, possible pitfalls and how to avoid them, how to make decisions, balance of probabilities, and what happens after the hearing.
