PD172 (Legislation, Diversity, Bias) - Unconscious Bias Training

These sessions are intended for staff only. We expect this training to be in high demand: please book only one date at any one time and cancel well in advance if you are unable to attend.

Please note that the course title and content will be changing from October 2019.

- The course is designed as an introduction for those without a deep level of prior knowledge.

- The scope of the course will be wider than unconscious bias and encompass more aspects of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) themes.

We plan to use the title 'Introducing Inclusion: Legislation, Diversity and Bias' going forward.

This workshop aims to examine certain factors that
limit our best efforts to create an inclusive organization, and provides staff with strategies to minimise the impact of these biases in the workplace.

Please note that we cannot offer places on this course to those who do not have a QMUL staff role. Selected data from the registers for this training may be used to contribute to statistical reports published by QMUL and those registered to attend may be checked against the online staff directory.
