RD600 (RD600 (Elements Training)) - Elements: Introduction & adding your publications

This session will introduce Elements, QMUL’s online system for managing and recording research outputs.

The session is in two halves.
During the first half of the session we will:
- provide a guided tour around the Elements interface and commonly used features
- demonstrate how to record details of your publications
- explain the the link between QMRO and Elements
- demonstrate how to deposit content (e.g. upload a manuscript) in Elements
During the second half of the session there will be opportunity for hands-on practice.
Either follow our practice example or bring your own papers to deposit with Library staff on hand to assist and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements
This session is suitable for researchers, research students and support staff who are new to Elements and who are required to log research outputs.
You will need an IT Services username and password to be able to login and use Elements at https://elements.qmul.ac.uk.
If you do not have an Elements login please email scholarlycommunications@qmul.ac.uk
If you have files to upload please bring these with you, although this is not mandatory.
