RD006 - EndNote for the Humanities and Social Sciences

Description - Suitable for all Humanities and Social Sciences research students and staff, this session offers an introduction to the EndNote reference management software package available at Queen Mary. By the end of the session attendees will be able to judge whether EndNote will be a useful tool for them to use. They will also have acquired the skills to start using EndNote to support their work, should they so choose.

Learning objectives - This session will consist of a presenter lead hands-on workshop followed by an EndNote Q&A and will include:

- Basics of how to collect references with EndNote
- Basics of how to manage references stored in Endnote
- Basics of how to re-use EndNote references
- Chance for Q&A on specific issues of using EndNote

Please note – The hands-on workshop will make use of PCs on the Queen Mary network. Attendees will therefore need to ensure that they have a functioning Queen Mary ITS username and password before attending.

Objectives
