About the workshop

The ability to extract meaning from the sources you read is key to informing your research and developing your academic writing. This course considers how you choose what to read and then how best to read it. It explores, through practical activities, the strategies to read a research paper critically and efficiently. It includes tips on how to organise your reading to match your purpose with an introduction to annotating what you read and taking transformatory notes.

Preparation: None required. Reading materials will be provided on the day.
