PD103 - Difficult Relationships and Conversations

A stimulating, and engaging one-day workshop designed to build confidence and technical ability to deal with difficult encounters in the workplace.

This course is suitable for: Professional Services, Support & Academic staff (apologies, we will not accept bookings from PHD students or students at any level and may verify your staff role to confirm or cancel your booking).

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Appreciate the significance of communication and working styles in maintaining healthy relationships
  • Understand current thinking about emotional dynamics and how they can be managed or mis-managed
  • Master techniques for handling critical conversations
  • Work out your own emotional intelligence profile, understanding its significance and how to enhance it
  • Develop strategies for managing key working relationships
