PD238 (Online webinar) - Wellbeing Series: Everyday Mindfulness

How can we bring about awareness? How can we be more compassionate to ourselves and others? Is it really possible to meditate in just 5 minutes?

Being in the moment and focusing your attention on one thing can be tough right now – how can we practice the art of being mindful? Join us for the Wellbeing Webinar Series: Week 7, where we share practical hints and tips around the topic of ‘mindfulness’.

We will be joined by Reverend Ella Sharples, St Benet's Ecumenical Chaplain and Dr Dominic Hurst, Senior Clinical Lecturer & Head of Student Support (Institute of Dentistry) to discuss – What is mindfulness? How can we be mindful in everyday life? How can we bring about more awareness?

Session aims:
- Understand that being mindful takes practice
- Build a greater sense of awareness
- Reflect on how to bring more focus to your work and home life

The day before the webinar you will receive a calendar invite with a link to the MS Teams meeting that will allow you to access the webinar.
