This workshop will be hosted online.
You will receive joining instructions via email 2 weeks in advance of the session and again 2 days in advance.

DESCRIPTION:
Securing a post after your PhD/Postdoc involves more than applying for advertised jobs that look appealing. Finding a job can be a full time job in itself!

A strategic and proactive approach to job hunting can increase your success rate. This workshop will explore how to carry out market research in your industry, how to network and how to adapt your applications accordingly.

By the end of the webinar/workshop you will:
- Understand how to do market research on your relevant industry, broadening your labour market knowledge and networks
- Understand the difference between an industry CV and an academic CV
- Understand how to adapt your LinkedIn profile to increase your chances of securing an industry role
