ELUCV03 - Run webinars with Blackboard Collaborate (online)

In this one hour session we will give an overview of Blackboard Collaborate functionality, sharing content on-screen and effective use with students.

If you are already familiar with the basic features of Blackboard Collaborate, then you may find it useful to attend the session ‘QMAV01 Interactivity in Online Teaching’ instead.

The E-Learning Unit are running online training sessions for staff to need help to get help with teaching remotely. These sessions are designed to show you the most commonly used functions of the tools, explore how you can use them with students, give you some hands-on practice and have your questions answered, supported by guidance documentation.

All sessions will be delivered online. Please access this session on the following link: https://qmplus.qmul.ac.uk/enrol/index.php?id=13361

The link above will direct you to a QMplus area where you can select the session you require (please scroll down the page to find the session you have booked on to).

You can also access the session directly via the below links – a direct QMplus activity link and a Blackboard Collaborate guest link:

The sessions are available to all staff, but relevant to those who are directly involved in teaching and assessment. PhD students, please note these sessions do not contribute towards skills points.

Please use Firefox, Chrome or Safari when accessing the workshops run through Blackboard Collaborate – Internet Explorer (IE) and Microsoft Edge are not supported.
