ELUCV09 - Digital Accessibility for Teaching and Learning Resources (online)

This session is relevant for all colleagues who are involved in teaching or developing teaching materials. It outlines what Digital Accessibility means and explains the wider benefits of considering accessibility when creating digital materials.

In this course colleagues will
• Learn the importance of considering accessibility when creating digital materials
• Gain hands-on experience of identifying some of the accessibility challenges in creating digital content
• Get a suite of resources along with a checklist that will assist in making teaching materials more accessible.

You can also go through our Online course on Digital Accessibility ( that covers all the objectives mentioned above.

The E-Learning Unit are running online training sessions for staff to get help with teaching remotely. These sessions are designed to show you the most commonly used functions of the tools, explore how you can use them with students, give you some hands-on practice and have your questions answered, supported by guidance documentation.

The sessions are available to all staff, but relevant to those who are directly involved in teaching and assessment. PhD students, please note these sessions do not contribute towards skills points.
