PD251 (Online workshop) - Staff Wellbeing: Exploring Wellbeing

Investing in your wellbeing has proven to help reduce stress and create a more positive work-life balance. This interactive workshop will explore the links between work, health and mental wellbeing and your role in promoting wellbeing for yourself and others. Join us to connect with like-mind people, best practice sharing and open up the discussion around wellbeing.

By the end of this session, delegates will be able to:
• Develop an understanding of the key issues effecting wellbeing
• Explain the factors impacting wellbeing and the sources of workplace stress
• Explore ways to improve wellbeing yourself and others
• Understand how to initiate and continue conversations around wellbeing

This is an interactive online workshop and there will be a short break at half time. Before joining us, you will need to download and individually complete the Wellbeing Survey 2020 from the invitation, which should take 10 minutes of your time.

Delegates will receive an Outlook calendar invitation with a link to the MS Teams meeting in the day/s prior to the workshop.

Please note: this is a staff-only course. We will have to cancel bookings by PhD Students and may verify your staff role. [PhD students: you can see which courses are available to you by filtering your search on the booking system by type ‘Research Student’. The Researcher Development team will introduce new sessions around wellbeing in the next couple of months.]
